R. (Jay) Lang, II
Jay Lang has served as a Principal of the Lang Group,
LLC since 1998, which has an office in Waukesha and Lake Mills,
Wisconsin. The Lang Group's main arena of business is commercial
real estate development, brokerage and consulting services. Mr.
Lang focuses the majority of his time selling or leasing commercial
real estate, tenant/buyer representation, investment property acquisition,
stabilization and disposition, and providing consulting services
for real estate development companies, financial and investment
groups and municipalities, as well as non-profit clients in all
aspects of commercial real estate. The Lang Group’s client
list extends to many developers, companies and individuals in the
state, as well as Minnesota, Oregon, Florida and Texas. These leading
institutions include Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren Law Firm, Suby
Von Haden & Associates Accounting Firm, Global Sourcing Partners/Promo
540°, Gorman & Company, Inc., Lycon Inc./Janesville Sand
& Gravel, Expert Foundry Services, The Parenting Network, K-Dee

and Aztalan Engineering. Mr. Lang focuses the majority of his time
in the Milwaukee and Madison markets and he has extensive knowledge
of the smaller communities throughout the state. Prior to forming
the Lang Group, Mr. Lang was a Development Manager with a local
Commercial Real Estate Firm for eight years.
Mr. Lang graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture
from the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) in 1989 and went on
to obtain a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University
of Wisconsin (Madison) in 1992, studying in the late Dr. James Graaskamp's
real estate program. He is an active participant with the University
of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Group, Wisconsin Commercial Data
Exchange-Xceligent, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce,
Marquette Family Business Center and regularly supplements his training
with courses offered through the University of Wisconsin, Wisconsin
Board of Realtors, CCIM, Appraisal Institute, and other accredited
real estate programs. He is also a member of the Commercial Association
of Realtors.
Mr.
Lang further enriches his life by spending time with his wife, Mary,
and three children, James 7, Robert 6, and Rebecca 3 and staying
involved with the community through Church involvement, Coaching,
Optimist Club, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.
